We would like to invite you to participate in the 2013 Letterpress Fair. For the second year, we are planning the fair as a part of Design Week Portland which is a week filled with exciting lectures, exhibits, tours, classes, demos, and parties all over our city. October 7-12 is the week, so mark it on your calendars now! As printers and book artists, we represent an exciting, tactile part of Portland’s design community, so lets show ’em what we’ve got! Printers, binders, equipment sellers, paper & ink dealers, schools, and collectives, etc. are all welcome!

We are also making our live printing event bigger and better. This year will involve a steamroller! We’ve partnered with the folks at EtchPop, and they will be cutting our plates for us. No sore hands from carving linoleum! If you’d like to be involved by making a design for a 3’x4′ print, contact us at for details.

The Letterpress Fair will be on Saturday, October 12th from 12-7pm. The super exciting news is that this year, we are having the fair at Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation. They have just built a big, beautiful, brightly lit space just down the street from Em Space Book Arts Center. Vendors will show their work against a backdrop of historic locomotives in this exciting new space in Portland’s Southeast Industrial District.
